A PLEASING WEEKEND IN SUNSET PARK
Lucky Rabbit Estate Sales

Wow! is all I can say about the people of this wonderful little neighborhood in Brooklyn. They made the sale very successful and profitable for the homeowner.
It was a pleasure to work with this nice family. We truly enjoyed getting to know them.
It amazed me how some cultures know very little about estate and tag sales. We were very pleased to introduce it to them. Word of mouth spread quickly throughout the community; we had 100’s of new inquisitive shoppers. Many of them returned several times on both days to shop with us. In addition we prepared a targeted ad campaign which was translated to traditional Chinese. In addition to our wonderful hardworking staff ( Lynn, Stephanie and Lorrie) we had some very nice visitors at this sale. Bryan (www.lisaler.com) stopped by to raise the flag and make new friends. Of course he brought his sidekick Bella, she’s always a big hit and oh so adorable. I love the way she snarls at me.
We had two very nice graduate students from Columbia University doing a project related to estate sales. They’re doing a photo slide show with sound bites from the sale. I’m sure I’m over simplifying it but we enjoyed having them at the sale. I wish them the best of luck with the project! I know it will be great and I for one cannot wait to see it. We will post it on our website when it’s completed.
We also discovered an awesome butterfly tree right next door. Dozens of beautiful butterflies were feeding off the nectar of this tree. Bryan Reif got some great pictures of the tree. You can see them on our facebook page:

All in all it was a great weekend in Beautiful Sunset Park. We hope to do more sales there in the future.
